After almost 5 months since our “C” date, Lyle and I finally went on our “D” date on Saturday! For our D date we:
Played disc golf
Ate at Denny’s
&
Played digital driving
This past Saturday Lyle and I woke up and decided we wanted to spend the day together – just us – and play disc golf. We then decided that it was the perfect day to finally go on our next alphabet date. So we sat down and brainstormed our letter D date. What to do along with disc golfing?
After much (last minute) planning we decided to go eat lunch at Denny’s. We also knew that when we got home later that night that we would want to play our new Mario Kart on the Wii U, but Mario Kart doesn’t start with D…
…So we came up with a fun – slightly geeky – way for Mario Kart to fit with the theme: calling it Digital Driving. Get it? Huh, huh? Funny right?
We even played as Donkey Kong and Daisy – because their names start with “D”!

This alphabet dating idea is so cute!! For Valentine’s Day I gave my husband a year’s worth of monthly dates…but we may have to do this next.
I’ve looked into doing that for my hubby! I have tons of ideas for it, it’s just following through and completing it 🙂
