The Girl Between The Lines Link-Up: Lunch With Any Blogger

Okay y’all I’m going to be honest. This week’s The Girl Between the Lines Link-up was really tough for me. See, I’m an extreme introvert. I am not good with people. New people, acquaintances, even friends. People wear me out. I get nervous and start talking too much or I clam up and stink at keeping a conversation going. So as I sat here and thought about a blogger, celebrity, or public figure that I would want to have lunch with my first thought was, “Oh man. Really? That would definitely be outside of my comfort zone!”

Even though it would be out of my comfort zone to have lunch with someone I don’t really know, I would definitely say that I would want to have lunch with Jess over at Polished Arrow. I recently met Jess in this blogging community a little over a month ago. I have gotten to know Jess a little throughout this month, and so far I have found that we have quite a bit in common. We both love Golden Retrievers, kayaking, the South, lists, journals, Jesus, and hammocks. We are also both INFJ’s which is a fun coincidence. If we had lunch together I am sure that we would find plenty to talk about! We would probably enjoy yummy Five Guys burgers while talking about teen ministry, books, and blogging.

Being a part of this blogging community has brought lovely ladies into my life that I would have never met without it. And Jess is one of those ladies! Blogging allows me to be more extroverted and step out of my small bubble. I am so grateful for this community and this link-up for that reason.

  1. Wow!! I was definitely NOT expecting this! 🙂 I would love to have lunch with you as well. I mean, Five Guys and conversation sounds like a fantastic lunch meet-up to me. 🙂 I can taste those fries now! 🙂 Thank you so much for this. I seriously wasn’t expecting it. Also, just know that I would probably be a little awkward at first too, but once that initial shock is over…we are good to go! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you over the past month as well! Things like this are definitely one of the things I love the most about blogging.

  2. Hi there! Stopping by from the link up. I agree…I think blogging does help us step out of our bubbles and put ourselves out there. Love the relationships I am making through blogging!
