I am enough in Christ {TGBTL Link-Up}

2 Corinthians 3:5

Today I am linking-up with Lauren and Hayley and their The Girl Between the Lines link-up. This week they asked bloggers to share advice they wished they had learned sooner.

I didn’t have to think very hard about what advice to share. 2 Corinthians 3:5 immediately came to mind. I love this verse! It has been my life verse since college. From this verse I learned the best advice of my life – advice that I had wished I had learned sooner.

2 Corinthians 3:5 taught me that I am enough with Christ. It has been such a great reminder that I don’t need praise from people. I often times get caught up in what people think about me or whether people like me. And this verse has always been a comfort when I start to judge myself based on other people’s views of me. In Christ I am enough!

  1. Love that verse is well! I think the thing I wish I would’ve learned sooner (especially when I was single and in my early twenties) was that God brings the things into our lives at His perfect time. Instead of being miserable in our impatience, embracing being in the will of God NOW (whatever that may be) is really the best way to live at peace and in an abundance of joy.
