Hike, Tennis, Lunch, & Movies: Moments that Matter Monday

Moments that Matter

Moment 1: Girl’s night with the girls in the youth group. On Friday night the girl’s in the youth group and I had a sleep over at the church. We ate Greek food, played games, and watched movies. We filled our night with lots of laughs, and had lots of fun.

Moment 2: Last Monday night’s hike to the waterfall. If you want to see the pictures of this hike check them out here.

Moment 3: Laughing at the awkwardness that was the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” movie. One night Lyle and I rented this movie from Redbox not really knowing what to expect because neither of us read the book. All I can really say about this movie is that it was mainly completely awkward with a few moments of funny lines and scenarios. But it was definitely fun laughing at it with Lyle.

Moment 4: Playing tennis with Lyle. Saturday afternoon Lyle and I walked to the tennis courts by our house and played a match. Lyle destroyed me, but we still had a blast getting out in the sunshine and acting like we had tennis skills :).

Moment 5: Eating lunch at the Oaks. If I had to pick a favorite moment from the past week, it would have to be this one. Those that live near Ogden know that the Oaks is a wonderful restaurant. If you are looking for a quick meal this restaurant is not for you. But if you are looking for a relaxing meal in the mountains on a river bank with the cool breeze blowing through your hair, then it definitely is! My bacon cheeseburger was perfect and taking an hour to sit with Lyle on a warm Saturday afternoon was even more perfect. A meal doesn’t get more relaxing than this:
