April Resolutions: Report Card Time

April Resolutions Report Card

So April has come to an end! Can you believe? It is crazy haw fast April went by. It is time to take a look at how well I stuck to my April Resolutions.

Finish School Yearbook: 100%

I cannot wait until I get the books in from the printer. I think the yearbook turned out amazing (I may be a little biased though)!

Read at least one book: 100%

I read Delirium, the first book of the Delirium Trilogy. This trilogy is about a girl in a dystopian society where love is the most feared disease that anyone can catch. The government has developed a cure for love and everyone must have the procedure that cures them on their 18th birthday. Up until the age of 18, it is illegal for boys and girls to interact with the opposite gender unless they are family or already cured. 17-year-old Lena, the main character, is excited about getting the cure until the day that she meets Alex. I loved the book and I have started the second one!

Go through my clothes and donate everything that I don’t wear anymore: 0%

I didn’t even make an effort to start this project. April was ridiculously busy, so when I actually had spare time I chose to be lazy 🙂

Be more organized with youth group events: 80%

I started out great with this resolution. I made a binder that organizes upcoming events, activities ideas, service project ideas, permission slips, receipts, and checklists to following for upcoming events. However, actually following through with using the checklists is where I failed with this resolution. I think I will do better next month as I adjust a little more to using the binder. Here are some pictures of the binder I made.

I made a pretty colorful cover to motivate myself to use the binder :)

The first section of the binder includes the upcoming 4 months, where I highlight days that have events on them. I also use these calendars to write the days that I have to do work for those events.

In the back of the binder I put a sheet protector where I store the receipts that we need reimbursed for.

What do you think of my binder? Do you have any ideas about how to make it better?

Blog at least once a week: 100%

I did way better than I intended with this goal! I ended up posting about 3 times a week! Yay!

Overall this month: 76%
