Yummy Newlywed Beeftips

Tonight Lyle and I had Newlywed Beeftips for dinner. This slow-cooker recipe was delicious and super easy. I found this wonderful recipe on a blog called Ring Around the Rosies. This site has tons of freeze-ahead crock-pot meals. The great thing about her recipes (besides them being tasty and easy) is that each recipe makes two meals!
Upon finding Ring Around the Rosies I decided to make a bunch of freeze-ahead crock-pot meals, and they have been great! I like coming home with supper ready, and I love not having to prepare the ingredients in the morning before I leave because they are already together and ready to be dumped into the crock-pot on my way out the door.
Anyway, enough of my rambling – here’s the recipe (with the freeze ahead instructions):
Newlywed Beeftips
2 lb beef stew meet
23 oz french onion soup (Use Pacific Natural brand instead of brands like Campbells that contain msg and BPA if you would like)
4 cups water
brozen broccoli
rice or noodles
Split everything (except broccoli and rice/noodles) into two containers. Shake it up, seal, label and put in the freezer. Instructions for Container: Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Mix in frozen broccoli 30 minutes before it’s done, or add steamed broccoli after it’s done. Serve over hot rice or noodles.
If this recipe sounds tasty you should check out Ring Around the Rosies for other great recipes!
